Delhi govt extends lockdown for another week, curbs till May 3

In view of recent surge in Covid cases, the ongoing lockdown in Delhi has been extended by another week. The curbs imposed last week in Delhi will now continue till May 3.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal addresses a virtual press conference and said, "The virus continues to wreak havoc in Delhi. We had imposed a 6-day lockdown in Delhi. The lockdown is being extended to next Monday till 5 am. While the positivity rate has reduced, Delhi has been seeing an acute shortage of medical oxygen."
