Govt puts new schemes on hold till March 31 next year

The government said on Friday said that due to falling revenue, it has blocked the initiation of approved/appraised new schemes by various ministries and departments till March 31, 2021. The finance ministry issued an order to put on hold approved new scheme for the FY 2020-21. The Atmanirbhar Bharat and PM Garib Kalyan schemes are exempted from the list. Watch report.
