In an exclusive interview with India Today TV, Dr Ian Bremmer, President of Eurasia Group, discussed the global fallout of the US raid in Caracas and the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and much more.

Speaking to India Today, Bremmer said, "'It is very clear that the United States is changing the rules of the road internationally. He characterised the US as the "militarily the apex predator" under the "Donro doctrine," warning that while the Venezuela operation is a tactical win for Donald Trump, it undermined long-term American legitimacy.

Regarding India, Bremmer noted the country is in a "strategically quite strong position" compared to other nations, citing its consistent leadership and role as a leader of the Global South. He argued that while the US remains powerful, its internal unpredictability and "regime roulette" approach to foreign policy are forcing allies into urgent hedging strategies.
