Indian-origin Amarpreet Singh Samar was among the top 10 gangsters on the United Nations designated list. Samar was shot dead at a wedding venue in Canada's Vancouver city.
As per local newspapers, Samar was on the dance floor when a man walked inside the venue, asked the DJ to pause the music and shot him dead. Reports suggest it was a targeted killing by one of the rival gangs.
