Imran Khan steps out wearing gas mask after tear gas shells lobbed in his yard

Former Pakistan PM Imran Khan stepped out of his Zaman Park home wearing a gas mask after tear gas canisters fired by police personnel landed in his yard and lawns. A video shared by Khan's party, the the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, showed the cricketer-turned-politician speaking to supporters gathered outside his Lahore residence with the mask over his face. Police and other security personnel were seen leaving Zaman Park on Wednesday. Earlier, security forces had fired tear gas and water cannons at hundreds of Khan's supporters who had surrounded his home in an effort to prevent his arrest on corruption charges in the Toshakhana case.
