IPL will be good opportunity for me: U19 World Cup hero Yashasvi Jaiswal

In an exclusive interview with India Today, U19 World Cup star Yashasvi Jaiswal said he was looking forward to play for the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2020. Jaiswal bagged a hefty deal of Rs 2.4 crore in the IPL Auction.

Jaiswal was the Player of the Series in the U19 World Cup where India lost the final to Bangladesh. The 17-year-old scored 400 runs overall in the tournament, which included a hundred against Pakistan and 88 runs in the final.

"For me, it is very good opportunity to play in the IPL for Rajasthan Royals because I can go and talk with the World's best players like Steve Smith, Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler. I am really excited to learn from them. It will be exciting for me as it is my first IPL and I will try my best to do whatever I can," Jaiswal said.
