Indian badminton ace PV Sindhu feels that her rivalry with Saina Nehwal will only help both of them improve.
"The rivalry is always there. It's good to have rivalry against each other but I think it depends on what you think. People might think in a different way. Many people talk about this rivalry, I know it's good, that's how sport improves and grows. So when you are playing against each other, you want to win," Sindhu said India Today.
India's badminton coach Pullela Gopichand said he does not mind the rivalry between Saina and Sindhu as it would help the players to become the best in the world.
"Rivalries are good when they push each other and in pushing each other they kind of beat the benchmark in the world," said Gopichand.
"And that's what I expect and I would want these two girls to do so because they are what they are in world badminton because of their competitive nature and I want them to be exactly like that on the court."

Trigunayat highlighted that West Asia is existential for India, ensuring that strategic stability and security remain paramount in all national calculations. He noted that the recent high-level visit between India and the UAE, though short, was highly substantive, resulting in a letter of intent for a strategic defence partnership. Trigunayat also addressed President Donald Trump's invitation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to join the Board of Peace for Gaza reconstruction, suggesting that while India provides humanitarian assistance, it remains acceptable to all parties in the region.
