IPL 2025: KKR still affected by record PBKS loss in Mullanpur? Moeen Ali reacts

KKR all-rounder Moeen Ali has admitted that their record loss to PBKS in Mullanpur still lingers in their mind, but the defending champions will be looking to bounce back in the reverse fixture on April 26.

"You never really forget. It’s hard to forget. But this tournament always throws tough challenges. That last match — we bowled them out cheaply and were in control before a 30-40 minute collapse.
At this level, those moments shouldn't happen, but they did. Now it’s about learning from it and correcting it in the next game," said Moeen.

Moeen also said that KKR wary of the threat posed by Yuzvendra Chahal but won't die wondering if he will come to haunt them again.

"Chahal had a brilliant day — we didn’t play him well. But our players have faced him many times and done well too. It’s about mindset now. Either you worry he'll do it again, or you back yourself and attack.
He’s a top-quality bowler, but even he was struggling for form before that game. Just like he bounced back in one game, we can do the same," said Moeen.
