Ankit Tiwari gave his popular song from Aashiqui 2 a twist at the Safaigiri Awards 2017 - "Sunn raha hai na tu, ganda dikh raha hai yeh" - and urged the audience to call out anyone who litters.
Ankit admitted that there was a time when he himself littered, but now, he has become conscious about maintaining cleanliness. He said that it's not just him, but also many others whose attitudes were changing, and it needs to continue this way. He added that fines and penalties might deter people from littering.
The singer also enthralled the audience by performing many of hit songs like Piya More from Baadshaho, Galliyan from Ek Villain and Tu Hai Ki Nahi from Roy.
