Political war erupts as fuel prices break all records amid pandemic

As India battles the monster Covid surge, the petrol and diesel prices are on fire. The fuel prices have been hiked 16 times in May.

Petrol price climbed to Rs 105.15 per litre in Sri Ganganagar while it rose to Rs 100.19 per litre in Mumbai.

Meanwhile, Congress leader Sachin Pilot has hit out at the Modi govt. He said, "Seven years of this govt has passed. And every sector of our economy is suffering. Inflations are high; petrol and diesel have crossed Rs 100 a litre. By patting your back, by managing headlines, I don't think they can't archive much."
