As farm protest fire spreads, a mahapanchayat attended by Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait on Wednesday renewed the call to repeal the new farm laws in Jind.

Calling for a "wapsi" (withdrawal) of the three new central laws, BKU leader Tikait indirectly warned the Narendra Modi government that it could lose its "gaddi" (power) if the agitation continues.
