UP Assembly polls: CM Yogi Adityanath's connection with Gorakhpur

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is all set to contest the state Assembly election from the Gorakhpur seat. Adityanath, who has won five terms to the Lok Sabha from Gorakhpur, is going to fight the Assembly election from the seat for the first time. He will file his nomination from Gorakhpur on Friday. In Gorakhpur, there are 77.8 per cent Hindus, 20,61 per cent Muslims, 0.74 per cent Christians and 0.18 per cent Sikhs.
