Is government misjudging enormity of Chennai water crisis?

Chennai is struggling with what is being called as its worst water crisis in years. The state government has come under fire for not being able to contain the crippling problem and is accused of ignorance.

Schools, offices and restaurants have started taking several steps to curb the water usage. Restaurants have put up messages on water conservation and schools have revised their timings. The four main reservoirs also paint a sad picture. Chief Minister Palaniswami, however, is firm on his ground claiming that the entire water crisis is being exaggerated.
