Ashok Gehlot Vs Sachin Pilot: Congress fights desert storm

The Congress-led Rajasthan government has landed in a deep crisis as the state's Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot declared open rebellion, claiming that the Ashok Gehlot government is in minority now as over 30 Congress MLAs have "pledged support" to him.
Ashok Gehlot has called a Congress Legislative Party meeting at 10:30 am on Monday to tackle the political situation in the state and had cracked a whip to the party MLAs asking them to attend the meet.
On Sunday night, Sachin Pilot told Aaj Tak and India Today that he will not be attending a Congress legislative meet called by CM Ashok Gehlot in Jaipur on July 13. Pilot added that the Gehlot-led Rajasthan government does not have a majority.
While the Deputy CM did travel to New Delhi on Sunday, he claimed that he did not get a chance to meet Congress president Sonia Gandhi or the party's former chief Rahul Gandhi.
