India vs England 2nd Test Day 2: Indian openers fail again at Lord's

Indian openers once again faltered as India were put to bat by England on the second day of the second Test at Lord's on Friday.

The entire first day of the Lord's Test was washed out but the toss took place on Friday and England won a crucial toss and chose to bowl.

In overcast conditions with continuous breaks in play due to rain, James Anderson put up a fiery performance to sent the Indian openers packing.

Murali Vijay was bowled out in the very first over with a peach of a delivery while KL Rahul edged the ball and took the long walk back to the pavilion.

Cheteshwar Pujara also departed on 1 after a horrible mix-up with captain Virat Kohli.

In the supremely swinging conditions at the Mecca of Cricket, India seemed to be in big trouble, already trailing the series 1-0.
