Top Hezbollah commander killed, 9-member team to probe animal fat in Tirupati laddus

The Andhra Pradesh government has formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the alleged adulteration of ghee used in preparing Tirumala Venkanna laddus. The 9-member SIT, led by Guntur Range Inspector General of Police Sarvashresth Tripathi, will also look into other irregularities that reportedly occurred during the previous YSR Congress regime at Tirumala.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, Israel's strike in Beirut killed senior Hezbollah commander Mohammed Hussein Surour. In the escalating Israel-Lebanon conflict, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to continue military strikes against Hezbollah until the group ceases its rocket attacks.
