Tension prevails in Tuticorin, internet remains suspended

Even two days after the anti-Sterlite protests and subsequent police killings, tension continues to prevail in Tuticorin. The Tamil Nadu government has suspended internet services in several area as a measure to put an end to rumours and restore peace. 13 people have been killed till now in the protests that have erupted against the Sterlite Copper plant.
