BJP to pick new chief today, PM Modi's Pariksha Pe Charcha, more

The BJP is set to get its new national president in place of Amit Shah on Monday, with its working president JP Nadda expected to be elected to the post unopposed.

Top party leaders have arrived at the BJP headquarters to file nominations in support of JP Nadda, who has long been seen as the choice of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Shah for the job.

The third edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) will be held today, January 20 in New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with over two thousand students, teachers and parents across India in his programme "Pariksha Pe Charcha-2020".
