Sunil Gavaskar did not think twice when he backed both Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma to play the 2027 ODI World Cup. Speaking at India Today's Salaam Cricket 2026, Gavaskar backed the idea of having India's favourite duo for one last push for the ODI crown. "Virat and Kohli will definitely play ODI World Cup 2027. They've been performing well. Even if the ODI are six months later, they will continue practising and stay in touch with the game. Their experience is of utmost importance to the team," he said.
