Bengal violence: TMC vs BJP in war of words

Tension prevailed in West Bengal as the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Trinamool Congress accused each other of orchestrating Saturday's violence that allegedly claimed at least four lives. While the BJP leadership claimed that five of its supporters were killed in the clash, the TMC said that six of its workers were missing.

Meanwhile, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday accused the BJP of spreading lies and creating unrest in the state.
