Controversy over armed forces veterans' letter to President; BJP calls Rahul chief of 'gaali gang'; more

On Thursday, over 150 veterans including some former Army, Navy and Air Force chiefs, reportedly wrote to the President, raising concerns over leaders using the military for "political gains".

But, the controversy broke after some signatories denied having anything to do with the letter, a retired army officer, Major Chowdhury, tweeted proof of their consent to endorse the letter.

The purported letter titled 'From a group of veterans to our Supreme Commander', signed by 156 veterans, pointed out how "political leaders [were] taking credit for military operations like cross-border strikes.
