Tabu Turns 50: 'A Suitable Boy' Actor Speaks on Films, Friends And Enjoying Her 'Singledom'

Bollywood actor Tabu turned 50 this year. In a throwback video, we saw the ‘Haidar’ actor open up about how she really is not a recluse as media portrays her and living life on her own terms. From speaking about how she never planned on becoming an actress to talking about how she selects her movies, Tabu spilled the beans on how films had become her life. Tabu added, “My relationship with the industry oscillates between feeling it's my family and also that it's my place of work. I consider Maqbool, Biwi No. 1 and Virasat as my best work. Contrary to the general perception, I enjoy doing fun films.” She further said that she didn't do anything outside of work. She also spoke about writing and travelling and said that contrary to what people thought, her life wasn’t that interesting. On speaking about marriage and the societal pressures, she said, “I'd be lying if I say there is no pressure on the marriage front.
