Zohran Mamdani heckled outside his NYC home after his mother, filmmaker Mira Nair, was mentioned in a recent set of Epstein Files released by the US Justice Department.
Actor Dhanush appeared before the Madurai bench of the Madras High Court with his mother Vijayalakshmi today to verify his birthmarks and quash a case filed by an elderly couple who claim he is their son. Kathiresan and Meenakshi, who claim that the actor is their third son who had run away from home to enter films, also sought maintenance from him.
The couple claimed that he was brought up in Madurai and he ran away to Chennai to pursue his Kollywood dreams. They said that though they could not trace his whereabouts, they were able to identify him through his films. The couple has claimed a compensation of Rs 65,000 per month as maintenance.
Meanwhile, Dhanush had requested the case to be quashed and also said that the entire statement is false. The identification test was conducted by a doctor at the Madurai bench of the Madras High court and the case has been adjourned to March 2.
