Nine years of marriage between Kantara star Rishab Shetty and costume designer Pragathi Shetty were marked with a deeply personal note from the actor. Celebrating their wedding anniversary, Rishab shared a post on X featuring pictures with Pragathi, accompanied by a heartfelt caption written in Kannada, drawing attention from fans of the Kannada film industry.

In the caption, Rishab wrote in Kannada, which is loosely translated as, “Bound together, stitched with affection, our loving companionship completes nine years today. Looking back, every moment we’ve spent together has turned into a treasury of sweet memories.” He further added, “There has been joy, there has been pain, there have been smiles, playful quarrels and disagreements and through it all, a harmony that balances everything. Above all, there is a love that never ends.”

Describing how Pragathi has had a positive influence in life, he wrote, “The light that love has cast, the peace it has brought, and the confidence it has filled me with have made me who I am today.” He further added, “To you – my partner in marriage, my constant companion, my goddess of good fortune - who turned a life that fit in the palm of my hand into something as vast as the ocean, heartfelt wedding anniversary wishes.”

Alongside the Kannada note, Rishab also added a message in English, writing, “To the force that drives me, to the strength I bank on, happy anniversary, my superpower. Life feels better when you hold my hand.” The post was widely appreciated, with fans praising the actor and calling the two simple, yet ideal couple.

Rishab Shetty and Pragathi Shetty reportedly met during the premiere of the 2016 Kannada film Ricky, from which their personal bond grew. After dating for a while, the couple tied the knot on February 9, 2017, in a private ceremony attended by close friends and family.

Pragathi has since been a constant collaborator in Rishab’s cinematic journey, serving as a costume designer on several of his projects, including Kantara, and playing a key role in shaping the rooted aesthetic seen in his films.
