Masakali 2.0: Sidharth and Tara recreate Delhi-6 song. You ruined a masterpiece, says Internet

Sidharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria’s Masakali 2.0 is now out. The song, sung by Sachet Tandon and Tulsi Kumar, is a recreated version of AR Rahman’s track from the film Delhi-6. The original Masakali featured Sonam Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan. It was sung by Mohit Chouhan.

While we all loved the Delhi-6 track, we cannot say the same about the remake. Masakali 2.0’s music is recreated by Tanishk Bagchi and lyrics are by Prasoon Joshi. The track shows Tara and Sidharth sneaking into a hotel room and fooling around until the actual guests of the room get back.

Masakali 2.0 has received mixed reactions from netizens. Some fans are lauding Tara and Sidharth’s chemistry while others are saying that the makers ruined yet another masterpiece. Comparisons have also been drawn with remakes of other songs like Humma Humma from Ok Jaanu and Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani’s Urvashi song.

The song marks Tara and Sidharth’s second collaboration after the 2019 film Marjaavaan. The Milap Zaveri film was a box office disaster and failed to garner any positive reviews.
