Sooraj Pancholi seeks blessings at Siddhivinayak temple after getting acquitted in Jiah Khan case. See pics

Aditya Pancholi’s son, Sooraj Pancholi, was finally acquitted on April 28 of abetment charges in the Jiah Khan suicide case. Judge AS Sayyad acquitted the film star due to paucity of evidence. Post the verdict, Sooraj visited the Siddhivinayak temple to seek blessings. 

The actor was spotted arriving at the temple amid police security. Sooraj even refrained from interacting with the paparazzi and straight away made his way inside the temple. 

Jiah Khan, 25, was found hanging at her Mumbai home in 2013. Her then-boyfriend, Sooraj Pancholi, was arrested for abetment to suicide after a letter by Jiah Khan revealed their tumultuous relationship. 

Following the verdict which was in Sooraj's favour, the Hero actor took to his Instagram stories and shared a gratitude note. In his note, the actor thanked all his fans for their support. "The truth always wins. #GodisGreat" he mentioned. 

In his 51-page judgment acquitting actor Sooraj Pancholi of the charge of abetting actor Jiah Khan’s suicide, Judge AS Sayyad said, "Jiah Khan was a victim of her sentiments."
