Comparison of ADHM and Shivaay: Will Ranbir-Aishwarya's chemistry take over Ajay's action at the box office?

Come October 28, and Bollywood will see two of its biggest films clash at the box office. Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Ajay Devgn's Shivaay will lock horns this Diwali. While Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai's sizzling chemistry has piqued the curiousity quotient for ADHM, the special effects and action sequences of Shivaay have worked in its favour.

With just a day left for the two films to release, expectations are soaring high. KJo's ADHM has been the talk of the town ever since the first teaser of the film came out. And more than the interesting storyline, it is the unusual pairing of Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan that has caught the fancy of many.

On the other hand, Ajay's much-talked-about film Shivaay is a complete actioner with a dose of emotion and love.

If the interesting pairing wasn't enough, the crackling chemistry between the two has become the talk of the town. Fans can't wait to watch Ranbir and Aishwarya put the screen on fire with their hot chemistry.

The trailer of Shivaay boasts of breath-taking action sequences. From cliff hanging to car chase sequence, every frame of Shivaay screams of some amazing action. And his fans can't wait to see him back as a action hero in Shivaay. 

Aishwarya, who has been in Bollywood for almost two decades now, is set to be seen in one of her boldest avatars in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

More than anything, it is the kiss scene with Erika Kaar that has grabbed eyeballs. It is for the first time that Ajay has broken the no-kissing clause and went all out to do a bold scene with his co-actor in Shivaay. 

Aishwarya plays a poet in a film, while Ranbir will essay the role of a rockstar. And if their bold scenes weren't enough, the shayari makes it worth a watch. 

After a gap of eight years, Ajay is returning as a director with Shivaay. While his last directorial venture was a dud at the box office, Shivaay will set the tone of Ajay's career as a director. 

Aishwarya in an interview has revealed that the bold scenes shot between Ranbir and her are quite classy. And there is no frivolous sensuality on screen as their chemistry is very important part of the story. 

Ajay plays a mountaineer in Shivaay and all hell breaks loose when his daughter is kidnapped in the film. It would be interesting to see which one fares better at the box office.
