Economic performance of Modi govt: MOTN survey

According to the India Today Mood of the Nation (MOTN) poll, an overwhelming 60 per cent of those surveyed said the economy is better now than it was during the tenure of the past Congress-run government. In the latest polls, 45 per cent of respondents said their income and savings have improved.

Seventy per cent said India could become a $5-trillion economy in five years, though half of them were of the opinion that the government needs to carry out sweeping reforms to achieve the target.
