The battle for the regional niche now hots up with the entrance of Punjabi Television's Punjabi World that claims to be, Tuhada apna (Your own) channel. Set to start from November 1, the 24-hour, free-to-air channel will have a mix of Sikh and Hindu religions, entertainment, soaps and folk culture.
