What's new for women on DD? A series that is woman-oriented.To be telecast on DD Metro at 2.35 p.m. on weekdays Aaj Ki Naari comes from the TV Today Network, producers of Aaj Tak. Each episode focuses on a social issue that affects the urban Indian woman - be it fashion, dowry or marriages. The show has members of three generations - a young girl, her mother and grandmother - holding a discussion. "The treatment is really the key," says Koel Purie, the producer and one of the main protagonists. "It marks the transformation of the TV Today Network from being primarily a news and current affairs production house to one which offers popular entertainment to a niche audience with discerning tastes," says Executive Director G.
