Finally, all your favourite toons in Hindi:Scooby andScrappy Doo, Swat Kats, Addams FamilyandJonny Quest.Starting January 4, dual audio tracks in English and Hindi will be available on Cartoon Network from 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. on weekdays and 1.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m. on weekends.This will make it the second channel after Discovery to go Hindi. Reason? "India is a very important market for us, an area we want to concentrate on," says Kathy Hu Mcclure, vice-president, programming. The channel had earlier introduced a separate India split feed on Pas4 satellite. The "Go Hindi" move is an extension of this. "It's part of a long-term strategic plan," says Anshuman Misra, vice-president, network distribution, South Asia. Dubbing is already underway in Mumbai in association with Crest Communications and Sound and Vision. The next step?
