His appointment as Prasar Bharati's interim CEO is ironical. The man who was once at the receiving end of S.S. Gill's ire is now his successor.But unlike Gill's much hyped tenure, O.P. Kejriwal's entry into Mandi House virtually went unnoticed. Quite clearly it's because his stay there is just a matter of a few more days till the formal appointment of the CEO takes place. Meanwhile, the Prasar Bharati Board had an informal meeting at the India International Centre last week.It had been called by one of its members, Abid Hussain, and was the board's first meeting after the promulgation of the Presidential ordinance but there was no formal agenda. "How can you have any clarity if half the board lies unfilled?" asks a member. The chairman, CEO, member (personnel) and member (finance) apart from a part-time member are yet to be appointed.
