Television serial director Ravi Rai has reason to be truly happy, at last.Rai, who should have been on top of the world with serials on both Sony and Zee, became a victim of his own success when the rival channels decided to slot Thoda Hai Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai (on Sony) and Teacher (on Zee) at precisely the same time on Thursdays.Sony has now decided to shift Thoda Hai... to prime time on Mondays and Rai's fans will finally have the option of watching both, instead of having to choose one over the other. There's more to make Rai a happy man. He's just signed on with Prasar Bharati to make a serial for Doordarshan. Parvaaz, says Rai, is the "usual family stuff " with the toothy Renuka Shahane playing the lead.Only problem as far as the director is concerned is that it is being made for DD2 instead of the national network, which has an enviable viewership.
