Radio days are back again. All India Radio (AIR) Director General Om Prakash Kejriwal is chuffed that Lata Mangeshkar has agreed to a radio autobiography.Kejriwal wrote to Mangeshkar asking her to record seven to eight hours of her life. Only condition: the recording wouldn't be aired during her life. "The idea is to get the subject to be as candid as possible," says Kejriwal. Mangeshkar seems to have liked the concept and accepted the offer within 15 days of getting it. The recording date is still to be finalised since the singer has other commitments.
