One British fashion critic has been steadily campaigning for the use of kohl pencils, which have already been launched by some big names in foreign cosmetics such as Helena Rubinstein, Boots, Rimmel and Mary Quant. On the home front, Indian cosmetic company Lakme is trying to cash in on the rage. With Air India model Persis Khambatta, they have started a campaign of their own in London. The reaction has been encouraging.
