Deepika-Ranveer Mumbai reception: Who looked good and who looked bad

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone hosted a star-studded wedding reception bash in Mumbai last night, i.e. December 1. Here is a list of all those who came, and a lowdown on the best and worst dressed of them.

Ananya Pandey looked gorgeous in a corset-style midi dress which had pearls and embellishments on it. Her soft natural make-up was the highlight of her look.

Anushka Sharma kept her frenemy feeling aside and showed up at the DeepVeer reception in a icy blue-grey mermaid style gown. We loved her chic bun and the feather detailing on the gown.

Tara Sutaria wore a sexy crop top and skirt with a cape-style jacket and looked like a total stunner.

Arjun Kapoor has a new look these days. He wore a royal blue suit with a hat to the do, but we were not impressed.

Ayushmann Khurana showed up with his beautiful wife Tahira Kashyap. Ayushmann looked dapper in a black suit and his wife was stunning in a silk tissue gold saree.

Ayush Sharma showed up at the DeepVeer reception sans wife Arpita Khan. He looked good in a black suit.

Jacqueline was slaying as usual in a golden saree. We loved the net bandhgala style blouse that she opted for. What a beauty!

Janhvi Kapoor channeled her late mother once again with her bright yellow saree. But unlike her graceful mother, she failed to impress.

Bhumi Pednekar wore a black gown to the event but we have to say that she failed to impress. Definitely in our worst-dressed celeb list.

Dia Mirza was oozing charm in an emerald green lehenga. She was one of the best dressed celebrities on the guest list. Her emerald and diamond choker added a lot of charm to her look.

Diana Penty looked quite pretty in her ivory and gold ruffled lehenga. Her make-up was slightly disappointing though.

Divya Khosla Kumar - always the charmer. She looked pretty in her navy blue lehenga and simple bun hairstyle.

Karan Johar maintained his streak of disappointing us with his overly bizarre fashion choices.

Arbaaz Khan showed up with his girlfriend Georgia Andriani but both of them looked really garish in their over-the-top outfits.

Karisma Kapoor was the personification of all things classy and stylish. Her black outfit paired with a box clutch was oh-so-sexy.

Mira Kapoor showed up sans Shahid at the event. Her ill-fitted black outfit was a sore sight.

Katrina Kaif was twinning with Jacqueline in a gold saree, but looked somewhat dull unlike the Sri-Lankan beauty. Beeter luck next time, Kat!

Khushi Kapoor looked gorgeous in her off-shoulder black gown. The embellished ensemble made her look like a real life princess.

Kriti Sanon probably did not pay much attention to her outfit and that is why it turned out to be such a dud. The style, colour and embellishments were all off.

Lara Dutta was looking classy in her black and gold silk saree.

Madhuri Dixit always looks very classy in sarees. But somehow this grey piece just didn't reach up to her fashion standards.

Malaika Arora usually makes us swoon with her stunning fashion sense. But this electric blue drape saree did nothing for us. We love her diamond danglers though.

Pooja Hegde's ivory lehenga was quite beautiful. The embellished and embroidered ensemble was a treat to the eyes.

Boney Kapoor posed for an adorable picture with his daughters Anshula and Khushi. We really liked Anshula's black and white gown. Sometimes simplicity is best.

The King Khan arrived in his staple black suit and still managed to look dapper.

Shilpa Shetty's tin foil dress was a pain to look at. Although the outfit had the potential to be quite a hit with the thigh-high slit and everything, the metallic finish killed it.

Soha Ali Khan looked like a younger version of her graceful mother Sharmila Tagore in that red silk saree. Very stunning.

Sonakshi Sinha's bodycon gown was a huge disappointment. The colour was too in-the-face and the embellishments were quite over-the-top too.

Vaani Kapoor's saree could have impressed us, had it not been for that hideous blouse with pearls dangling from it.

Vidya Balan looked surprisingly good in a black lehenga that she paired with a white dupatta.
