Fashion Flashback: The most dazzling runway looks from Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2017

The bigwigs of the entertainment industry have come under one roof yet again to present fashion at its best at Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2018. While this gala has just begun, here's a look at some of its hottest looks from the previous edition...

Vaani Kapoor turned showstopper for designers Sonam and Paras Modi. Clad in an elegant red lehenga, the actress redefined the idea of plush dressing for us. Vaani's ensemble was an example of striking the right balance between glamour and class. The deep-red lehenga had a fine leaf-embroidery all over it that was as dainty as it could get, and looked extremely well-refined.

Sauntering down the ramp for ace designer Manish Malhotra, Sunny Leone shone brighter than the stars. Clad in a floor-length, blingy gown, which hugged her body all over, Sunny flaunted her curvaceous body, and got our heads reeling with her sensuality.

Shraddha was a picture of elegance as she glided down the ramp in a gorgeous embellished monsoon crane lehenga by Rahul Mishra. With hand-embroidered, muga silk magenta blouse and the superbly crafted chintz, scalloped, dupatta, the outfit looked serene, and so did Shraddha.

Ranveer Singh looked like a walking rainbow as he gave us the most glistening runway appearance in an exuberant multi-coloured, bomber jacket by Manish Arora. The man was nothing less than an illuminating explosion of colours on the runway in his glaring jacket that was complemented with his iconic mischievous smile and infectiously oozing confidence.

Nargis Fakhri looked like a vision as she ramp for ace designer Anushree Reddy. Nargis was clad in a blazing lemon-yellow lehenga that could put the sun to shame with its beauty and brightness. The lehenga looked beyond gorgeous with a intrinsic silver embellishment that glimmered bright, all over it.

Malaika Arora was a sight to behold in a glimmering, sheer dress by the talented Ridhi Mehra, and got us heart-eyed over her. The body-hugging dress brilliantly highlighted Malaika's curves at just the right places, and she gave us one of the most sensual looks of the season.

Jacqueline Fernandez looked sensational in a long-sleeved, embroidered, net floor-skimming creation, over micro shorts, which showed off an intensely fantastic beaded back and black tulle stole. The actress, who walked the ramp for Manish Malhotra, got us drooling over her phenomenal runway look.

Esha Gupra walked the ramp for ace designer Amit Aggarwal in a blue-gold bridal outfit that demonstrated how bridal outfits can be glamorous too. The shimmering golden choli of the sensual attire was complimented by a flamboyant, indigo skirt adorned with heavy gold embroidery making Esha look hotter than ever.

Disha Patani walked the ramp for Ritu Kumar on Day one of Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2017. As sublime as the attire was, the red floral-embroidery on the fishnet-hemlime top looked utterly gorgeous as it contrasted the flawless primary colour phenomenally.

The runway saw the fiery-looking Chitrangada Singh stun in a flamboyant number by Neha Agarwal as her showstopper. The gown was an ode to the art of Madhubani, as it boasted of the animal motifs incorporated with brilliant colours. While the peacock-like patterns and the offsetting of contrasting colours played on traditional tones, the fish-cut pattern of the gown looked absolutely contemporary.
