Vijay, who has been a singer for over 23 years and an actor for almost seven years, said that that he doesn't call himself a superstar. “I wouldn’t call myself a superstar. I am popular in singing. In acting, I am just getting started and have a long way to go," he said. Vijay, son of legendary singer KJ Yesudas, also opened up about making his own mark and stepping out of his father's shadow during the session titled 'The New Tune: Singing a Fresh Song'.
