SC pulls up Centre on Covid vaccine policy, questions about digital divide in rural India

The Supreme Court on Monday pulled up the Centre on its Covid-19 vaccine plan and asked if the policy is to make states and municipal corporations compete with each other to procure vaccines. The court also observed that till date, the Centre has failed to submit a national policy document on Covid vaccines.

The Supreme Court further questioned how is the Centre addressing the digital divide and its constraints in rural India.
