US scholar killed in Bulandshahr road accident, family alleges eve-teasing

A 19-year-old girl from Greater Noida's Dadri district studying in Babson College in Massachusetts was killed in a road accident while she was on her way to Bulandshahr on a two-wheeler. The girl, Sudeeksha Bhaati, was back in India for vacations and was supposed to return to the US on August 20.

The victim's family has alleged that while she was on her way with her uncle on a scooty, two men on a motorbike started following them. "The men were passing comments on Sudeeksha and were trying to overtake her and do stunts. Suddenly, their motorbike hit Sudeeksha's Scooty and it lost balance. Sudeeksha died on the spot," said Satendra Bhaati, the student's uncle.
