Thick layer of smog continues to engulf Delhi two days after Diwali

Even two days after Diwali, the AQI level in Delhi continues to be in the ‘severe’ category. On Saturday, Delhi hospitals observed a rise in the number of patients coming in with respiratory problems and burning eyes.

As per experts, the firecrackers bursting in Delhi, along with a spike in stubble burning in the neighbouring states, has worsened the situation this year.
