Supreme Court agrees to hear pleas against Triple Talaq Act

The Supreme Court has agreed to hear pleas against Triple Talaq act and has issued a notice to the Centre on the same.

The court is seeking response from the Centre on petition challenging newly enacted law on triple talaq. However, there will be no stay on Triple Talaq Act for now.
