Rahul Gandhi pleads not guilty in RSS defamation case hearing

Rahul Gandhi pleaded 'not guilty' before a court in Mumbai in a defamation case filed by an RSS worker over allegedly linking journalist Gauri Lankesh's murder with the BJP-RSS ideology.

Rahul Gandhi, who officially resigned as the Congress Party President yesterday, was granted bail by the Mumbai court on a surety of Rs 15,000.

CPM General secretary Sitaram Yechury also appeared before the court in connection with the RSS defamation case.
