Kuriakose Kattuthara, a priest who was a witness in the rape case against Bishop Franco Mulakkal, has been found dead.
Kattuthara's body was found in Dasuya, near Jalandhar in northern Punjab. Mulakkal, who denies the charges against him, was recently relieved of his duties at the Jalandhar Diocese.
Kattuthara's brother said he suspected the priest was murdered.
