PM Modi welcomes Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu with a hug; Congress takes jibe

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was welcomed by his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi with a hug as he arrived at the Air Force Station Palam in New Delhi on Sunday.

"With Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu visiting India, we look forward to more hugs from PM Modi," a tweet said from the official handle of Congress with a video taking a jibe at PM Modi and his various hugs and handshakes.

However, the BJP was quick to retaliate. Party spokesperson Sambit Patra tweeted, "Never expected India's main opposition party to post such a tweet."
