PM Modi, Imran Khan to be at same venue in Bishkek

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Pakistani counterpart Imran Khan will be at the same meeting room and may even share a table at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan on June 13-14. However, there is no formal meeting scheduled between the two prime ministers as of now.

At the SCO, India would look at engaging with Central Asia multilaterally - focus on the issue of counter terrorism, separatism, extremism, connectivity in the region and Afghanistan. The SCO represents 43 per cent of the world's population, 22 per cent of the world's area and 20 per cent of its GDP.
