On Camera: Thief manages narrow escape despite heavy cops deployment in Jalandhar

A thief managed to evade the police and people present in a locality in Jalandhar. The incident of the narrow escape was caught on CCTV cameras in the area.
The thief escaped despite the presence of the police and residents in the locality. It said that the thief had a close call with the police once and then, almost an hour later, after changing clothes, the thief re-entered the same house and committed theft again before fleeing with the stolen goods.
According to the police, around 6 o'clock, the thief broke into the house of a retired teacher in the Guru Gobind Singh Avenue area of Jalandhar. When the thief entered the house, people nearby became suspicious. The people gathered outside the house and informed the police. The police arrived at the scene approximately 25–30 minutes later.
Later, the thief broke the gate of the house in the presence of the police and pushed people aside before fleeing. This incident was captured on CCTV cameras.
The hairbreadth escape of the thief has been captured on cameras in the vicinity.
