Odisha Jaundice Scare: 70 Students Infected at Navodaya Vidyalaya in Khurda

In a concerning development from Odisha, a jaundice outbreak has struck Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Khurda district. India Today's Editor & Kolkata Bureau Chief, Indrajeet Kundu, reports that nearly '150 to 200 students are suspected to be suffering from jaundice', with 70 cases already confirmed. The outbreak, believed to be caused by contaminated water from an uncleared school tank, has triggered panic on campus just days before annual examinations. As a precautionary measure, the school administration has issued a notice banning outside food.
