Donald Trump Tells NATO To 'Throw Out China And Russia From Greenland'

On this special report, the focus is on Donald Trump's latest diplomatic stance regarding the Arctic and Greenland. The former President has issued a strong message to NATO and Denmark, asserting that 'NATO Needs to throw out China and Russia from Greenland' to protect America's strategic interests. Trump reiterated his claim over the territory, describing it as essential for the United States' Arctic future. The programme examines the escalating rhetoric as Trump ups the ante on international security and territorial importance, questioning the future of Denmark's sovereignty over the region in the face of American Arctic ambitions.

Dr. Mukesh Aghi On India-US Trade Ties Amid Trump's New 25% Iran Tariffs

On this edition of NewsTrack, Dr. Mukesh Aghi, President and CEO of the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum, discusses the impact of shifting geopolitical dynamics on India-US trade. Dr. Aghi notes that while India faces a complex situation with potential tariffs, 'India has played the ball very, very rightly and being a good partner with the US.' He highlights the role of the new US Ambassador, Sergio Gore, in resolving trade stalemates and protecting interests like the Chabahar port. The programme also features Rick Sanchez, host of 'Journalistically Speaking', who provides a critical perspective from Moscow on Donald Trump’s 25% tariffs on Iran-linked trade and the escalating protests in Tehran. Sanchez argues these moves are part of a 'regime change operation' and discusses the potential for a Russia-India-China triad to balance US energy monopolies. The discussion covers structural reforms, the influence of the Indian diaspora, and the risks posed to global energy markets by US interventions in Venezuela and Iran.

US-Iran Conflict: Analysis Of Potential Military Intervention And Global Oil Shocks

This news bulletin provides an in-depth analysis of the escalating tensions between the United States and Iran. The speaker examines the logistical challenges of a potential US military intervention, noting that an invasion would require over 100,000 soldiers, a scale for which there is currently little appetite. The report highlights the strategic absence of US carrier strike groups in the Middle East, with assets currently deployed near Venezuela, Japan, and the South China Sea. A critical concern raised is the potential for Iran to block the Straits of Hormuz, a vital passage for 20% of global oil. Such a blockade could trigger massive oil shocks, potentially doubling prices to over $120 per barrel. The analysis also covers possible Iranian retaliatory strikes using hypersonic missiles and drones against US bases in Qatar, the UAE, and Bahrain, warning that the conflict could be far more severe than previous installments.
