LAC standoff: India-China talks on for nearly 6 hours now

The seventh round of India-China military-level talks over the LAC standoff has been on for nearly six-hour now. The talks began at 12 noon. India is firm on its demand for total disengagement from the friction points along the LAC.

The corp commander level talks are taking place in Chushul on the Indian side of Line of Actual Control.

Tensions between the two neighbours are high since the June 15 clashes in Galwan valley. In the sixth round, India and China agreed to stop sending more troops to forward positions.
